Children's Sunday School
Becoming a disciple of Jesus is a life-long and inter-generational journey. As part of the early stages of that journey Kingsfield-Zurich Mennonite Church supports and compliments the spiritual leadership of parents in their homes by providing Sunday School classes, Boy's Club and Girl's Club where children and youths learn with adults from the Bible and through shared experiences (which are often lots of fun too!) to grow together toward their own decision to follow and live for Christ.
On Sundays at Zurich Mennonite Church, Junior Sunday School gathers downstairs at 11am, which is following the gathered worship time for adults and children.
Children aged 2 and under are welcome in the nursery from 10 a.m. until the completion of the main service.
Children ages 3 to 12 meet in classes to study the Bible and to have fun as well. Youth in grades 7-12 meet in the Youth room (southeast corner of the downstairs - the bright green room!) to study, hang out and grow together. See Ministry to Youth and their Families page [MYaF].
Those who serve children in Kingsfield Zurich Mennonite Church are discerned by ZMC leadership (through the Gift Discernment Committee and the Sunday School Superintendents), and each servant/teacher is police-screened through the Ontario Provincial Police's volunteer screening process.
